Play the classic minesweeper with a new daily field in three sizes: 9×9 with 10 mines, 12×12 with 24 and 16×16 with 48. The first click is always safe. Flag mode for touch screens and a timer included.
How to play Daily Minesweeper
- Tap a square to open it. Your first tap is always safe.
- A number shows how many mines are in the eight squares around it.
- Squares with no mines nearby open their neighbours automatically.
- Mark squares you believe hide a mine with a flag: right-click, long-press or use Flag mode.
- Tap an opened number whose mines are all flagged to open all its other neighbours at once.
- Open every square without a mine to win. Hitting a mine ends the game.
Tips and strategy
- Start in the middle of the field to open a larger area.
- A 1 touching only one closed square means that square is a mine.
- If a number already has as many flags as its value, every other neighbour is safe.
- Look for the 1-2-1 and 1-2-2-1 patterns along walls; they have known solutions.
- When you must guess, guess where the probability of a mine is lowest — usually far from numbers.

Frequently asked questions
Is the first click safe?
Yes. The mines are placed after your first click, and the clicked square and its neighbours never contain a mine.
How do I place a flag on a phone?
Long-press a square, or switch on Flag mode with the button below the field.
What is chording?
When a number has as many flags around it as its value, tapping the number opens all remaining neighbours at once.
Is it the same field for everyone?
Yes. Each size has one field per day, the same for everyone. Because mines are placed around your first click, opening in the same square gives the same game.
Do I sometimes have to guess?
Occasionally. Classic minesweeper fields can contain positions where logic alone cannot decide, especially on hard.
